In week ending October 11, local indicators for COVID-19 were elevated, but appeared to be dropping. Local indicators for influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) remained minimal. Regional laboratory surveillance most frequently detected rhinovirus and COVID-19 among clinical respiratory specimens. 1.0% of emergency department (ED) visits were attributable to COVID-19, fewer than 10 visits were attributable to influenza, and 0 visits were attributable to RSV.
