Leadership

Kitsap Public Health District has protected the health of our county’s residents since 1947. A 10-member Public Health Board, composed of elected officials and community representatives, is our governing body.

Accreditation

Kitsap Public Health District has been accredited by the national Public Health Accreditation Board since 2015. 

This designation means our Health District has met rigorous quality standards and measures as a high-performing public health agency and is committed to continuous innovation and improvement.

The Kitsap Public Health Board approves the Health District's budget. The Health District's finances are reviewed each year by the Washington State Auditor's Office. Audit reports are posted below.
