4.1% of emergency department visits were attributable to influenza, and fewer than 10 were attributable to COVID-19 or RSV. Kitsap sentinel reporting labs reported six positive COVID-19 tests (0.8% of specimens tested), 126 positive influenza tests (124 influenza A, two influenza B; 16.8% of specimens tested), and 21 positive RSV tests (9.7% of specimens tested).
On average, fewer than 10 hospital beds at St. Michael Medical Center were in use per day for COVID-19 or influenza patients.
At Kitsap long-term care facilities, there have been three influenza outbreaks reported in the past four reporting weeks, and no COVID-19 outbreaks.
