Kitsap Public Health District is posting this message on behalf of Naval Base Kitsap — Bangor.
The U.S. Navy will host a public meeting for the current results of the Naval Base Kitsap — Bangor private drinking water sampling effort for PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances).
The meeting is Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel.
