About the Community Needs Assessment


Every three years Kitsap Community Resources (KCR) uses a Community Needs Assessment (CNA) to better understand the strengths, challenges, and priorities of people living in Kitsap County. The assessment helps identify gaps in services, programs, and policies.


Kitsap Public Health District will use the information to help inform their Community Health Assessment (CHA) in 2028. The CHA tells the story of our community’s health using quantitative data (percentages and rates) and qualitative data (community voices from focus groups and interviews). It highlights trends, disparities and gaps as well as community resources and assets.
