You can help improve services offered in Kitsap County by sharing your experiences getting help with food, housing, healthcare, and other necessities.


Participants are needed for two focus groups being held this month as part of a community assessment project conducted by Kitsap Community Resources, Kitsap Mental Health Services, Kitsap Public Health District, and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.

You can join one of two focus groups that will be held in February: 

  • Feb. 11, 6-7:30 p.m. at Kitsap Community Resources, 1201 Park Ave., Bremerton

  • Feb. 19, 5:30-7 p.m. at Bremerton Foodline, 1600 12th Street, Bremerton

Focus group participants will receive a $25 gift card. The events are family-friendly and free food will be provided. 

Feedback gathered from these focus groups will be incorporated into community health and needs assessments and will be used by agencies throughout Kitsap to better understand challenging issues our community faces and create effective solutions.
