Keeping up to date on immunizations is a simple step you can take to stay healthy as you age. Safe and effective vaccines are available to protect us from more than 14 harmful diseases.

Checking your records
You can check your immunization records to see which vaccines you have already had and which you might still need. There are several ways to check records:
Contact your regular healthcare provider.
Use the state’s MyIR portal to access records online.
Visit a local pharmacy or clinic.'
Kitsap Public Health can provide records for immunizations that have been entered into the Washington state immunization database:

Free immunization programs
Adults who do not have insurance or whose insurance does not cover vaccines can receive some vaccines for free through the Adult Vaccine Program. You can use this map to find providers participating in this program. Call ahead to make sure they have the vaccine you need and are accepting patients.
COVID-19 vaccines are covered by most insurance plans and available for free for adults whose insurance does not cover the full cost of vaccination. Go to vaccines.gov to find locations.
