Banner Community Health: Protecting and improving the lifelong health of families and communities.

IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM

Vaccines (immunizations) are one of the most effective ways to prevent illness. By staying up to date on vaccinations, you can help protect yourself, your family, and your community from a wide array of potentially serious illnesses.

Our immunization program protects and promotes the health of all people in Kitsap County by providing up-to-date vaccine information to the public, supporting providers with training, education, and resources, and responding to vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks.

KITSAP PUBLIC HEALTH DISTRICT VACCINATION CLINICS

We work with partners to offer free immunization clinics for children and adults who do not have health insurance. This page will be updated as additional clinics are scheduled.

We also offer JYNNEOS (monkeypox) vaccination for eligible adults. Contact our immunization team to arrange an appointment.

IMMUNIZATION UPDATES

NO-COST IMMUNIZATIONS FOR CHILDREN

The Vaccine for Children Program provides vaccines to children under the age of 19 at no cost to you. Some providers may charge a fee to administer the vaccine to your child, but most insurance plans cover this fee. If your insurance does not cover the fee and you are unable to pay it, by law you cannot be billed for these fees, and they will never go to collections.

Follow the links below to learn more about vaccines recommended for children. Some vaccines are required for school or childcare attendance:

IMMUNIZATION RECORDS

There are several ways to check your family's immunization records:

  • Contact your regular healthcare provider.
  • Use the state’s MyIR portal to access records online.
  • Visit a local pharmacy or clinic.
  • Contact Kitsap Public Health District
  • Kitsap Public Health can provide records for immunizations that have been entered into the Washington state immunization database. We are not currently replacing COVID-19 vaccine cards.
